I love them. There is motion and emotion. They are historical icons of the 2 tone ska label.

SKA TRIVIA:
The band Bad Manners was playing ska before the 2 tone label was in existence. The Bad Manners color code was black/yellow. Many Bad Manners fans were railway and traffic workers, who armed with those huge rolls for tape you see at the side of the road works would then help 'decorate' the insides of the venues were the gigs were being held.

It's the story book of shadow puppets! These illustrations tell stories! So much motion, I like the way his pole/lantern go off the page out of view. And emotion. though the characters are grotesque, there is an overriding humor. Ok, you smiled, admit it. : )
